Enigmanova Media

The House

Built for
the undiscovered story.

Enigmanova draws on a rich African tradition of storytelling, where stories carry identity, memory, and meaning across generations. Founded by two South Africans, the house exists to carry that tradition into the present with care and intent. Its name holds the idea at the centre of the company: enigma, the unknown, and nova, the star. Enigmanova is about recognising overlooked voices and giving them the platform to be seen, read, and remembered.

Across the world, strong work is often left unseen because the path to publishing, positioning, and marketing is costly, unclear, or controlled by gatekeepers. Enigmanova was created to open a more deliberate path, selecting work carefully and bringing it to readers with seriousness.

Books come first, followed by audiobooks, translation, and future expansion into music, animation, and film when the material is ready. Each release is shaped around the work and the writer, then carried forward with the aim of lasting presence across languages, formats, and time.

Core Values

Author First

Authors are partners, not products. The house protects author participation, ownership, and the long life of the work.

Story Before Trend

Stories are selected for meaning and longevity, not speed or short-term attention.

Long-Term Value

Sustainable circulation and recurring reward over one-time transactions.

Cultural Respect

Stories are expressions of identity, heritage, and lived experience.

Integrity

Transparency, honoured agreements, and creative work approached with care and accountability.

From Imagination to Expression

Every manuscript begins as a private vision. Enigmanova helps shape that vision into a finished edition, edited with discipline, designed with intention, and prepared for readers without stripping away the voice that made it worth publishing.

Our Authors

Many voices. One house.

Enigmanova publishes across several authors, each with a distinct voice, genre focus, and reading world. What connects them is not sameness, but care, seriousness, and the long life of the work.
Christian Discipleship

Shenton R. Adams

Shenton R. Adams writes Christian living and discipleship for believers who sense that God is calling them deeper, but need language, courage, and direction to answer. His flagship work, He Called Me, speaks to sons and daughters learning to recognise the Father’s call, surrender orphan-hearted patterns, and step into the life they were created to carry.

His writing is direct, grounded, and commissioning in nature. Whether writing on calling, identity, faith, marriage, family, or the life of obedience, Shenton’s work returns to one conviction: faith is not only something to believe. It is something to live.

Tas Arden

Tas Arden writes children’s fiction for readers growing up between places, schools, cultures, and versions of themselves. The Tales of an Expat Kid series follows a young Tas across new countries, new classrooms, new friendships, and the quiet uncertainty of starting over.

Beneath the travel and his misadventures lies a story about belonging, confidence, identity, resilience, and learning how to be yourself when the world around you keeps changing. Warm, observant, and emotionally safe, Arden’s work is written for middle grade into early teen readers, and for families who understand that moving abroad is never only about geography.

Several languages sequenced with care.

Stories should not be limited by language, region, or market. Enigmanova’s long-term ambition is for selected titles to travel across the world, so readers can experience them in the language closest to home.

The aim is simple: stories should not lose readers because of language. They should be carried into many mother tongues with care, attention to voice, meaning, culture, and emotional weight.

Each translation release is sequenced thoughtfully, allowing the work to reach more readers without losing the spirit of the original story.
